I have fine, mostly straight hair, with very little body. I always use a round boar bristle brush to style my hair when I do a blow-out, but this one is much better than any other boar bristle brushes I've found. It really picks up and hold my hair so I can get more body in it. It doesn't snag my hair, and that's very important since my hair can be easily damaged, even though it is not chemically treated. I was also impressed by the price, since it is so much better than some of my more expensive brushes. Overall, it's just a great brush for a great price. I would recommend this, and I would purchase this again.
